German automobile manufacturer, Audi unveiled its luxury Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) "Q7" in India in 2006. Audi Q7 offers three engine options - one diesel and two gasoline - for the Indian consumers. The car, equipped with such an engine, promises to deliver a top speed of 210 km/h. The petrol variant - 3.6 FSI - of Audi Q7 is powered by a Quattro engine, which generates a maximum output of 280 PS @ 6200 rpm and a torque of 360 Nm @ 2500 rpm. The model reaches a top speed of 225 km/h. The Q7 4.2 FSI model is also powered by a gasoline engine, which pumps out a power of 350 PS @ 6800 rpm and a torque of 440 Nm @ 3500 rpm.
Design And Comfort
The exteriors of Audi Q7 are imposing, with a single-framed large radiator grille being the dominant feature of the frontage. The curved headlamps holding xenon lights add to the dynamic appeal of the SUV. In the rear end, the car gets a distinctly designed tail lights cluster. Sunroof is available as an optional feature. The sporty appearance of the car is further enhanced by contrasting bumpers. Audi Q7 is imposing outside, spacious and luxurious inside. There are three variants of Audi Q7 SUV. These include 3.0 TDI (diesel), 3.6 FSI (petrol) and 4.2 FSI (petrol). The diesel variant is priced at Rs 52 lakh (approx), whereas the petrol models - 3.6 FSI and 4.2 FSI come with a price tag of Rs 55 lakh (approx) and Rs 66 lakh (approx), respectively. Q7 is available in dazzling colors, including Cobalt Blue Metallic, Deep Black, Lava Grey, Phantom black, Condor Grey Metallic, Sycamore Green, Garnet Red, Quartz Black, Bania Beige Metallic, Ice Silver and Calla White.
